Dragon Boat Festival

Hola chicos!

Me gustaría participar alguna día :)

Hello babys! Today starts the Chinese cultural festival called Dragon Boat Festival or Duanwu Festival. It is in the memory of the poet and minister Qu Yuan, very loved by the Chinese people. In the ancient China, he suffered banishment as the victim of a court intrigue and he was exiled. A cause of this he died himself in the Yangtze river. Chinese people loved him, cried for him and to avoid his body could be eaten by the fishes, every year they come to throw into the river glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves called zongzi- a traditional plate for this festival. Also in his memory they race with the dragon boats, boats decorated with the traditional Asiatic dragon symbol of the masculine energy, into the river.

For sure is something special1 I would love to live it for at least one day! .)

Kisses:*
